Can anyone suggest a cheap motel in Houston near the Scout Bar. It's a 10 hour drive for me and I'm not familiar with the town.

LOL

When I read that, I was thinking of Spaghetti.

"All I know is ball, and good, and...rrraaapppeeee...."

ATHF ftw

EDIT: I failed hard. I meant Hand Banana, not Spaghetti. I'm glad I caught it first.

I suggest you should go to Hilton Garden Inn Houston Energy Corridor. My elderly Mom and I were in town for one Saturday night and chose this hotel due to its being close to our destination. Wow, what a pleasant surprise! Sleep to number of beds, wonderful bedding, flat screen TV, spacious room, great location close to several restaurants, bar in lobby with a restaurant that serves a great breakfast, fresh cookies in lobby, and have a wonderful staff. I should say that this hotel is an absolutely perfect stay. Right price for a very right service and amenities.

I said cheap in the beginning of the forum. The Hilton? Really? I would ban this account for false advertising. This forum does not need some bot posting ads.
Oh well, the trips not happening anyway . . . sigh.

Yeah, obviously that was some advertising bot - but, in general, the Hilton Garden Inn is not too expensive. I don't think I'd call it cheap though.

I just saw Hilton in the name and saw dollars signs, but I've never been so I didn't really know. Well, I just visited their website and they list the cheapest room at $189. Um Yeah, thats expensive in my book.
