I'm looking to find some Saxophone sheet music, just because I'm wanting to see how it'll sound; about as good as the real thing, or not even close. Just post here, or PM me if you find anything! Thanks!

Nothing has really been "officially" released, pretty much all we have is in this thread. Nothing for saxophone, but there are tabs and some piano which you could transpose.

Not likely. :/ How well can you learn by ear? That would really be the best way I'd say.

I might be able to help you out--I'm pretty slow at writing out music, but I have a good ear. Which songs are you most interested in? And do you want the original key, or would a different one be better for saxophones?

If you could help, then any key that's easy is fine, I just want to be able to play FTM's April Fools and eggmen on my Saxophone.

Do you know the key in which your saxophone is made? If you use the same sheet music as a piano would, it will most likely sound different. To be in the same key, it would have to be transposed.

For example, playing a C on music written for a B♭ trumpet (my instrument of choice in high school) would actually be a B♭. The music would need to be moved up by a whole step to match C tuning.

I think it's C♯.

The intro was frustrating me, so I decided to start with the chorus. I'm done the rhythm, now I just need to do the notes (gotta wait til I get home to my keyboard), but that's the easy part, so I should have it up by tomorrow!

I gotta say, a sexy solo-sax version of April Fools would be pretty epic :thumbleft:

Yep, can't wait until it's done, it'll be awesome being able to actually play the songs. Thanks again!

I think it's C♯.

"April Fools and Eggmen" is in G minor, which would be E minor on a standard alto and A minor on a standard tenor. Either of those keys should be pretty easy.
